Job summary

Career Team in Plano, TX seeks a Center Manager to oversee the Workforce Solutions Center’s operations, managing budgets, supporting staff growth, ensuring program quality, and strengthening partnerships within the community. The Successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager, require strong leadership and budgeting skills, and drive effective service delivery.

Travel 15-20% is expected as you coordinate with program managers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public relations, or community organization or development or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4 years of supervisory or management experience
• Requires strong project management, organizational, data analysis, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee all employment and training initiatives within the Workforce Solutions Center
• Ensure facilities, staff and clients have access to essential tools, materials, accessibility and safety procedures
• Oversee purchasing processes and track spending related to center operations
• Maintain accurate inventory records and complete assigned reporting tasks
• Identify community partnerships and maintain partner relationships
• Coordinate cross-training opportunities and assess employee performance
• Manage the Center’s budget and funding allocations for service delivery
• Coordinate outreach events with Business Services and Marketing & Communications
• Create customer satisfaction strategies with measurable improvements
• Track service outcomes for clients and staff to uphold quality standards
• Address customer complaints per grievances procedures
• Engage industry sectors to meet/exceed customer expectations
• Evaluate performance goals and ensure staff follow prescribed strategies
• Coordinate with Program Managers to supervise staff and hire/promote as needed
• Demonstrate Extreme Customer Service in all interactions
• Adopt a ZAG mindset in daily tasks
• Other duties as needed
