European Wax Center in El Cerrito, CA is seeking an Assistant Center Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a team of Guest Service Associates and Licensed Wax Specialists, and drive guest satisfaction and sales performance. You will manage scheduling, inventory, payroll, and daily operations while ensuring health and safety standards and brand compliance.

A strong retail or hospitality leadership background is preferred, with flexible availability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail sales management, spa/salon operations, or hospitality leadership.
• Strong sales background preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Sales‑driven with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading and managing a team of Guest Service Associates and Licensed Wax Specialists
• Drive center performance through sales goals, membership growth, and guest retention
• Assist in scheduling, inventory, payroll, and daily operations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and brand standards
• Assist in coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
• Learn and develop a deep understanding of KPI’s and speak to financial acumen
