Job summary

Northwell Health seeks an Operations leader to direct materials management, service contracts, building management, and end-user interface for the Center. You will develop warehousing and receiving logistics processes and oversee related facilities operations.

The role requires 8–12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years in leadership, with a focus on customer service. Strong collaboration with clinical and administrative teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
• Very strong customer service and hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads an Operations group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
• Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
• Maintains knowledge of service contracts to develop standardization and cost-saving strategies; analyzes material costs and suggests savings to Corporate Procurement.
• Identifies inventory levels; sets par levels and oversees timely maintenance.
• Oversees warehousing and receiving logistics processes (loading dock, mailroom, storage) and parking/valet services for the Center.
• Interfaces with physicians, administrative and support staff to address operational concerns for the Center.
• Develops and monitors operating goals, objectives and budget; reports performance and actions.
• Participates in new construction projects related to operational issues; enhances patient and employee satisfaction.
• Maintains productive relationships across departments and vendors to optimize materials management.
• Manages direct and indirect reports, and oversees hiring and development.
• Ensures compliance with government and agency regulations.
