Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking a Center Operations Director for its new Portsmouth, VA location. This non-clinical leadership role will guide day-to-day operations, partner with clinical leaders, and drive growth and efficiency across the center.

You will manage administrative teams, oversee billing and authorizations, and work with families to ensure smooth onboarding and high-quality care. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
• 2–4 years of direct people management in a director-level role is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and strategic growth of the Portsmouth location.
• Partner with senior clinical leaders and administer performance metrics.
• Manage administrative teams and billing/authorization workflows.
• Coordinate onboarding and family engagement to support clinical teams.
• Drive improvements in access, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Secure accurate insurance reimbursements and oversee billing processes.
• Motivate staff through coaching and performance reviews.
