Job summary

Luzerne County Head Start is seeking a Center Operations Manager to oversee the overall operations of assigned Head Start centers and to motivate and direct staff in alignment with the program's philosophy and policies. This full-time, 10-month position runs August through June, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of $37,410 per year plus a 5% bilingual premium.

Luzerne County Head Start requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations. Position will require record check approval of driving record by LCHS Insurance Provider, as this position is considered a designated position requiring driving as an essential job function. Proof of Degree/Certification and Experience Required to meet the Qualifications for position.
