Job summary

Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. is seeking a dedicated advocate to work with Head Start families, connecting them with community resources and services in alignment with program standards.

You will collaborate with parents of Head Start children to strengthen knowledge of local resources, assist in linking families to agencies, and support program goals through outreach and advocacy. This is a full-time, school-year position with a summer break, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus;

Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations. Proof of Degree/Certification and Experience Required to meet the Qualifications for position.

Full Time School Year position/10 months- August-June annually, with an established summer break between school years

Positions are Full Time, 37.5 hrs/wk
Rate of Pay: $18.92/hr Base Salary
For those who possess Bilingual Abilities (Eng/Spanish) – 5% additional pay
