Job summary

Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. is seeking a Center Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of assigned Head Start centers and ensure all activities align with program policies. The role requires leadership to motivate staff and ensure quality service within the center environment.

The position is full-time (10-month school-year), 37.5 hours per week, with salary of $37,410 per year. Bilingual abilities qualify for a 5% pay premium and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Administration/Child Development or Related Discipline as required.
• Three (3) Years’ Experience in child care setting.
• Related Management and Supervisory experience preferred.

Conditions of Employment
Luzerne County Head Start requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations. Position will require record check approval of driving record by LCHS Insurance Provider, as this position is considered a designated position requiring driving as an essential job function. Proof of Degree/Certification and Experience Required to meet the Qualifications for position.
