Job summary

Skilz for Kids seeks an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in Bel Air, MD. You will lead center operations, drive sales, and foster a culture of learning for coaches and families, delivering strong business results.

The role requires a dynamic leader who can manage coaching staff, coordinate events, and maintain high service standards while nurturing a safe, engaging environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with experience working with or coaching kids ages 15 months - 11 years old.
• Achieve Coach Certification through the HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete training through LearnUpon as required by HQ Training and Certification team.
• Prior experience in management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Understand the center’s KPIs and financials to guide decisions.
• Build relationships with families and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Oversee center initiatives like maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Sell and schedule events to maximize center profitability.
• Lead on- Duty coverage when GM is off and mentor staff.
