Job summary

Centria Autism in Woodhaven, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians (RBT) to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teach communication, social and daily living skills, and apply evidence-based techniques to reduce challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required; training provided. Must be patient and team-oriented, 18+, HS diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid and TB test; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow BCBA guidance.
• 18+ years of age and HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test; successful background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children through routine activities and reinforce desired behaviors.
