Job summary

Centria Healthcare seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work with children with autism. You will implement individualized plans one-on-one under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and training; candidates must be 18+, have a diploma or GED, and pass background checks. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school graduate or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with a team to support each child and family.
