Job summary

Centria Autism in St. Joseph, MI is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience is required. Candidates must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Support training and collaboration within a team to help each child reach their potential.
