Job summary

Centria Autism in Walker, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. You will implement individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Join a supportive team with comprehensive training. This role requires physical ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not current.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ and able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• CPR/First Aid and TB test may be required if not current.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Contribute to reducing interfering behaviors and track progress with supervisors.
