Job summary

Centria Autism in Lansing, MI is seeking a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism through one-on-one instruction and behavioral interventions. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you will implement individualized plans to teach communication, social and daily living skills, helping reduce challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or obtainable.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and move in various positions up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist in reducing interfering behaviors and track progress with the team.
• Collaborate with BCBA and support staff to monitor outcomes.
