Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. You must be comfortable with physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sits and stands from the floor or chair multiple times per day.
• Frequently lifts up to 50 lbs.
• Moves quickly as needed to interact with and ensure safety of clients.
