Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while promoting safety and progress.

Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team; comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test
• Background check clearance
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend)
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support client safety.
