Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, delivering individualized interventions under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

This role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and the ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds when needed. Training is provided, and certification as an RBT is obtained after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Empathy and patience in daily interactions with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively with BCBA and teammates.
• Flexibility to handle variable schedules and tasks.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting.
• CPR/First Aid and TB test may be required on onboarding.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Certification as RBT after onboarding is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
