Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA's guidance. You’ll use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while fostering a supportive team environment.

You’ll receive comprehensive training and may need to stand, walk, bend, and assist children up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors through planned interventions.
• Move and assist children as needed during activities and sessions.
