Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one sessions under a BCBA's guidance.

You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors in a supportive, collaborative team environment. Training is provided to all new hires.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with a team and participate in comprehensive training provided by the company.
