Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in one-on-one sessions. You will implement individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training and welcome candidates new to the field. The role involves teamwork and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in a child's life and family.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in ongoing training.
