Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We offer comprehensive training, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to grow in the field of Behavioral Analysis. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Training provided; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
