Job summary

Centria Autism in Mount Pleasant, MI, is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors, with comprehensive training provided. The role offers growth in a supportive team with a pay range of $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test, and pass a background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors through structured intervention.
