Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to empower children with autism through one-on-one interventions under the supervision of a BCBA.

You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, while ensuring safety and comfort for each child. Training is provided, and there is strong teamwork across the clinic.

Compensation ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, with opportunities for growth within a supportive environment in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills.
