Centria Autism in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Training is provided; no prior experience required. Pay is $17-$20 per hour, with opportunities to grow within the structured career path.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check

Responsabilités

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
