Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide direct 1:1 and group ABA therapy to young children in a in-center setting in Allen, TX. The role focuses on implementing prescribed behavior acquisition and reduction protocols under BCBA guidance.

You will collect data, monitor progress, and support families with training while maintaining documentation and safety standards in a daily, structured schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current certification as an RBT (BACB) or be willing to complete a 40-hour training and pass competency within 45 days.
• Must participate in background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Age 18+; CPR and First Aid certification encouraged; TB test annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time per procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as instructed.
