Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is a center-based ABA therapy program dedicated to helping young children reach their potential through intensive, one-on-one and group-based instruction.

The Registered Behavior Technician will implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and train caregivers while adhering to BCBA/BC protocols. The position requires in-center work, a current RBT certification, and a commitment to safety, accuracy, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification issued by BACB
• Willing to participate in background check process
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Willing to obtain TB test annually
• Must be physically able to perform job tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks precisely
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Strong tech skills to record data on mobile devices
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and NAT training.
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols from treatment plans built by BCBA/BC
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per treatment protocols
• Ensure timely and compliant documentation
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as directed by BCBA/BC
• Report safety concerns and incidents promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe therapy environment
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments
