Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional behavior technicians to provide 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. Candidates must hold or be willing to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment, and must meet the listed qualifications.

Responsibilities include implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans, collecting data, and training parents. Benefits include paid time off, tuition discounts, practicum hours, and early wage access.

Formación

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification or be willing to complete training and sit for the competency exam within 45 days of employment.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation and, in some cases, proof of driver’s license and valid car insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test if not current.
• Must be able to physically perform the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and according to procedures.
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers as instructed by supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist BCBA in preparation of client materials and assessments.
• Report all incidents and safety concerns.
