Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional Behavior Technicians to work in a 1:1 and small group ABA setting with children on the autism spectrum in Katy, TX. Eligible candidates must hold current RBT certification or commit to a 40-hour course and pass the competency exam within 45 days of hire.

Pay range is $18-$25 per hour. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision, and early wage access. Practicum hours and supervision support are also offered.

Formación

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to physically assist and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Patience and flexibility when working with children on the autism spectrum.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings with intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed protocols in the client’s treatment plan created by a BCBA/BC.
• Record and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per treatment and behavior protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation and effective communication with families.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area for therapy sessions.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of materials and assessments.
