Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians to join our center-based team. You will provide 1-1 treatment under BCBA supervision, collecting data and adapting plans for children with autism spectrum disorders in a supportive, team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with children preferred.
• Experience with behavioral challenges or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or other developmental disabilities preferred; comprehensive training provided.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area, including lifting 25+ pounds and other movements.
