Job summary

SCI is seeking a Cemetery Maintenance Manager in Salt Lake City to oversee operations across multiple cemeteries, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and wildlife regulations while delivering exceptional service.

You will build a high-performing team, develop budgets, manage capital projects with the home office, and coordinate vendor relationships to maintain manicured properties and timely project execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 8+ years cemetery maintenance experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Minimum 2 years supervising staff.
• Experience with environmental and wildlife regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of multiple cemeteries and ensure safety, quality, and customer service standards.
• Develop annual operating and personnel budgets and manage capital expenditures.
• Coordinate staff schedules and minimize overtime while maintaining coverage.
• Source, procure, and manage inventory of tools and materials; approve invoices.
• Collaborate with home office on capital projects and regulatory compliance.
