Job summary

SCI is seeking a Cemetery Maintenance Associate in Colorado. You will cut grass, maintain lawns, and assist with graveside services, openings, and closings. You’ll operate hand tools, prepare crypts, and help with marker installation while upholding safety and environmental guidelines. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in varied weather.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant cemetery maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass and maintains lawn around chapel and gravesides.
• Operates hand tools and equipment such as shovel, rake, weed trimmer.
• Lays sod and maintains walkways; assists with openings and closings for interments.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and vehicles; performs minor repairs.
• Observes safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
