Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Manager for the Des Moines Terminal IA to oversee marine unloading, truck loading, and distribution/storage activities. The role focuses on optimizing terminal operations while upholding safety, quality, and environmental standards in line with Amrize's strategic goals.

Responsibilities include budgeting, employee development, safety promotion, and coordination with cement plant personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience or a HS diploma with 5 years of experience.
• 3–5 years in operations or maintenance in cement/concrete/aggregate industries.
• 1–3 years in a supervisory or lead role; Terminal Manager in training is possible.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage terminal budgets to cost and volume expectations.
• Manage development plans for terminal employees.
• Promote safety practices and trainings across the plant.
• Supervise receiving/unloading of trucks, railcars, and marine vessels; maintain records.
• Transmit daily cement inventory information to sales and corporate offices.
