Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize the cement manufacturing process, analyze operations, and implement improvements for safety, energy efficiency, and production rate.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical or chemical engineering with at least two years of relevant experience. You will work with shift teams, train operators, and contribute to reliable, cost-effective production across the plant.

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor’s in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• Minimum two years in a mechanical/chemical engineering role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Analyze cement production process and improve efficiency.
• Assist in training control room operators on equipment use.
• Collaborate with shift teams to keep mills/pyro lines efficient.
• Program plant PLCs and maintain documentation for processes.
• Support production goals for quality and cost efficiency.
