Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company is seeking a Senior Milling Engineer to provide technical support for milling processes and to participate in performance trials across North America. You will work with plant personnel and external consultants to drive process improvements and test new technologies.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability and continuous improvement through project execution, training, and data-driven decisions. Travel up to 25% across plants may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or closely related field.
• 7+ years of experience in plant operating, milling, or related roles.
• Ability to read, write and understand warning labels and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support milling process performance and optimization.
• Analyze plant processes and recommend changes to improve efficiency.
• Lead on-site audits and use data to evaluate performance.
• Coordinate with departments and external consultants on projects.
• Provide technical support for process and mechanical mill systems.
• Assist during annual shutdowns and plant outages.
• Develop and train staff on milling technologies.
