Ash Grove Cement, part of the CRH family, is seeking a Process Engineer to manage and improve the cement production process at our plant. You will analyze operations, implement efficiency-enhancing changes, and support safe, reliable plant performance.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork with shift operators, and hands-on programing and optimization of control systems to maximize output and maintain quality. A bachelor's in engineering and practical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in mechanical/chemical engineering with 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Analyze the cement production process and implement changes for efficiency.
• Train control room operators on proper use of plant equipment.
• Work with shift teams to maintain peak mill and pyro line performance.
• Program plant control systems and maintain documentation.
• Perform performance testing and measurements on production equipment.
• Maintain equipment performance records.
• Provide technical support to maximize production efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Optimize process through data gathering and testing for continual improvement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
