Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company is seeking a Sr. Corp Milling Engineer to provide technical support across milling processes, participate in performance trials, and collaborate with plant personnel and outside consultants. The role emphasizes safety, process optimization, and project execution.

You will engage in annual shutdown support, train teams on milling systems, and contribute to the Annual Process and Performance Report, with travel up to 50% domestically across North America.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 year Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or closely related area of concentration.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in plant operating or milling or related position.
• Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Analyze plant production processes and recommend changes to optimize operating conditions.
• Arrange on-site audits and use operating data to evaluate process efficiency.
• Assist in project scope development, execution, and commissioning.
• Provide technical support on process and mechanical performance of mill systems.
• Support all energy conservation and reduction programs.
• Collaborate with consultants and plant personnel to prioritize work and improve efficiency.
