Job summary

Ash Grove Cement is seeking a Senior Corporate Milling Engineer to provide technical support on milling and process performance across plants. You will participate in trials, support the Task Force programs, and coordinate with consultants and plant personnel to improve efficiency and safety.

The role emphasizes collaboration, project execution, and training on milling systems, with opportunities to contribute to annual performance reporting and energy-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or closely related area.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in plant operating, milling, or related position.
• Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Analyze plant production processes and optimize operating conditions.
• Arrange on-site audits and evaluate process efficiency.
• Provide process and mechanical training on milling systems.
• Participate in annual shutdowns and plant outages.
• Collaborate with outside consultants and department teams.
• Support energy conservation and reduction programs.
• Oversee capital projects and performance upgrades.
