Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Technician at the Portland Cement Plant in CO to maintain and monitor efficient production processes. The role requires 1–3 years of experience, a High School diploma or GED, and basic computer skills with SAP knowledge.

Qualified candidates should be able to operate multiple types of equipment, work rotating shifts, and adhere to rigorous safety standards in a demanding industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of work experience.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Basic computer skills and SAP knowledge.
• Must climb stairs and ladders; work in hot/cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor efficient operation of all production processes.
• Perform routine inspections and generate work orders for maintenance.
• Operate equipment including dump trucks, skid loader, front end loader and forklift.
• Clean the preheater tower with jack hammers and air lances.
• Reclaim sand, iron ore, gypsum and clinker into the process.
• Lubricate, inspect, and repair process equipment as directed.
• Complete safety inspections and required documentation.
• Maintain clean work areas and support rotating shifts.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
