Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Production Technician to maintain and monitor the efficient operation of all production processes at the Portland Cement Plant CO.

Under the direction of the Production Coordinator, you will perform routine inspections, operate equipment, and support safety programs to ensure health, safety and environmental compliance. Requirements include a High School diploma/GED, 1–3 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills; SAP

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma/GED.
• Required Work Experience: 1-3 years.
• Licenses Preferred: Valid Driver’s License Required.
• Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic knowledge about computers, Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Exercise and encourage core values including development of self and coaching others.
• Maintain and monitor efficient operation of all production processes.
• Perform routine inspections and report unusual conditions; prepare maintenance work orders.
• Operate dump trucks, skid loader, front end loader, forklift and other equipment.
• Reclaim sand, iron ore, gypsum and clinker as directed.
• Lubricate, inspect, adjust or repair process equipment.
• Complete area safety inspections and required documentation.
• Work rotating shifts and uphold health, safety and environmental policies.
