Job summary

Amrize seeks a Mechanical Technician for its Portland Cement Plant in Colorado to maintain plant production and service equipment, follow safety rules, and work as part of a team.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, operate forklifts and other heavy equipment, read blueprints, and support process reliability. The role requires a high school diploma, 3–5 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and SAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years as a mechanical or maintenance technician.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on plant production and service equipment.
• Operates forklift, skid loader and other heavy equipment.
• Reads blueprints and repair drawings; performs welding, cutting and fabrication as needed.
• Ensures safety procedures and EHS policies are followed.
