Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mechanical Technician to keep plant production and service equipment in reliable operating condition at the Portland Cement Plant, CO. You will perform routine maintenance, repair defective parts, and ensure adherence to safety policies while working with forklifts, heavy equipment, and various tools.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3–5 years' mechanical/maintenance experience, with a valid driver's license and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School diploma/GED
• Required Work Experience: 3-5 years as mechanical or maintenance technician
• Licenses Preferred: Valid Driver’s License
• Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic knowledge about computers, Microsoft Office and SAP

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance work on plant production and service equipment
• Maintains tools used within department
• Repair and eliminate product spillage
• Operates forklift, skid loader, and teleforker
• Operates heavy equipment such as chainfalls and comealongs
• Work overtime as necessary
• Work independently as well as in teams
• Adhere to Environmental Health & Safety policies
