Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Supervisor CEM at the Holly Hill Cement Plant in South Carolina. The role oversees plant safety, production processes, and quality control while coordinating with lab technicians and the QA team.

You will manage hourly staff, implement corrective actions, and monitor equipment to meet budget and schedule targets. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in manufacturing operations, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or related field
• 3-5 years of manufacturing operations experience
• Strong knowledge of processing methods and planning techniques; proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to read and interpret business documents and regulations; strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Must adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise plant processes and operations to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Supervise process and hourly employees and coordinate with lab technicians.
• Ensure quality and environmental ISO standards are met.
• Review lab results and assure product quality of clinker and cement.
• Take corrective actions and report solutions for production issues.
• Inspect operating equipment to maintain production requirements.
• Use SAP to issue work orders, time entry, and material requisitions.
• Control costs and seek ways to reduce operations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Work rotating shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
