Job summary

Amrize North America is seeking a Production Supervisor CEM at the Holly Hill Cement Plant in South Carolina. You will support safety programs, supervise hourly staff, and work with lab and quality teams to ensure safe, compliant operations and consistent, quality cement production.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in manufacturing, with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP. You’ll manage cost control, maintain housekeeping, and rotate shifts while upholding

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Industry related field
• Required Work Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing operation
• Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of processing methods and appropriate planning techniques; Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continual observation of operation of all processes through recordings and indications of the control system; monitor and visually observe when necessary.
• Supervise process and hourly employees and work closely with lab technicians.
• Ensure that quality and environmental ISO standards are met.
• Assure that a consistent, quality product is produced through interaction with quality control and review of laboratory results on clinker and cement.
• Take corrective action and report and recommend solutions for production problems.
• Ensure regular inspection and evaluation of all operating equipment to help maintain production requirements.
• Use SAP to issue work and material requisitions, hourly employee time entry, and other system information.
• Work to keep costs in line with the plant budget and seek ways to reduce costs of operations, maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure good housekeeping in assigned work areas.
• Be prepared to work rotating shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.
