AbbVie in Worcester is seeking an undergraduate Co-op in Project Engineering to manage capital projects and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will engage with internal departments and external contractors to deliver equipment and facilities improvements.

The role emphasizes project lifecycle management, cost estimation, and documentation, with hands-on exposure to P&ID development and automation support. In-person at the Worcester site for a 6-month period (January–July).

Qualifikationen

• Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the co-op.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.

Aufgaben

• Provide overall management of capital projects through the entire project life-cycle, including scope management, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating activities with internal teams and contractors.
• Develop project scope based on customer requirements, estimate costs, and prepare financial defense packages.
• Create user requirements and P&ID diagrams for Biologics equipment and support automation programming.
• Identify internal and external resource needs for projects and coordinate procurement as needed.
• Prepare periodic project status reports for stakeholders in accordance with site policies.
