Job summary

RTX is hiring a Production Supervisor in McKinney, TX to lead operations on the factory floor, ensuring safety, quality, cost and schedule adherence in a lean manufacturing environment. You will supervise day-to-day activities, manage resources, and track performance metrics.

The role demands 2+ years in production or manufacturing, plus experience in planning/scheduling and team leadership; familiarity with SAP/iMRO/CMES is a plus. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.
• Experience working in production, manufacturing, or operations.
• Experience managing a production team and/or group subordinate employees.
• Experience in manufacturing planning/scheduling and lean manufacturing concepts.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Safe, quality, cost, and schedule execution on the factory floor.
• Supervise day-to-day factory operations, resource loading, process control, and business performance metrics.
• Interface with Production Associates, Production Control, Program Operations, Quality, Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, and Factory Management.
• Workforce planning and forecasting, employee training, time and attendance tracking, area layout and flow management, and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with other functions to drive cost, quality, and schedule improvements.
• Willing to work off-shift and overtime as required by program and factory needs.
