Job summary

RTX is seeking a Material Planner / Production Control Specialist for our McKinney, Texas facility. The role ensures seamless material flow to meet production and customer needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and keep shipments on schedule.

Ideal candidates will have a university degree, up to two years of related experience, and strong MS Office 365 skills. This onsite position offers exposure to lean initiatives and a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience with planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or other relevant transferable skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting.
• Coordinating program requirements to ensure controlled material flow to meet customer requirements.
• Provide production floor support including WIP movement and MRP system updates.
• Prepare purchase requests for components based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
• Maintain integrity of the shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems.
