Job summary

RTX is seeking a Value Stream Manager in McKinney, TX to oversee production, assembly and testing of radar systems in a multi-shift environment. You will manage a team of cell leads and shop floor staff, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across the value stream.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent with 8+ years of related experience; advanced degrees and Lean/Six Sigma credentials are highly valued.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years relevant experience.
• Advanced degree in a related field with minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, planning, scheduling, finance, operations, or similar environments.
• CORE Certification or 6 Sigma experience; EVMS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and execution across multiple work cells in the McKinney Consolidated Manufacturing Center.
• Establish takt plans in support of program schedules and accountability for value stream performance.
• Interface with Operations Program Managers and OSC Leads on execution status, capacity, risks and opportunities.
• Lead on-site manufacturing activities across shifts and support development/prototype programs.
• Maintain operational metrics focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost and equipment.
