Job summary

RTX is seeking a Cell Leader - AWW Shift to lead a multi-skilled team in jet engine component manufacture and repair. The role emphasizes applying CORE, LEAN and continuous improvement to boost quality, throughput and delivery integrity.

You will train staff, conduct performance reviews, and ensure safe, compliant operations across three shifts. The position requires a degree with experience, strong leadership and solid shop-floor knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree required: Bachelor's or Associate's with relevant experience; or a high school diploma with 6+ years in related work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Working knowledge of shop practices, processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to multi-skilled team members engaged in manufacture and repair of jet engine components.
• Ensure employees are trained and work in a safe, environmentally sound manner.
• Conduct performance reviews, toolbox meetings, and communicate goals clearly.
• Bridge objectives across three operating shifts.
• Support government contracting and FAA policies and procedures.
• Set day-to-day goals and objectives for the team.
• Modify systems and processes to improve effectiveness of the work area.
• Flexible for shift overlap and occasional off-shift work as needed.
