Job summary

RTX is seeking a Cell Leader - AWW Shift in North Berwick, ME to lead a team in the manufacture and repair of jet engine components. You’ll apply CORE/LEAN to drive quality, throughput and delivery integrity while ensuring a safe environment and effective communication across shifts.

Ideal candidates have a relevant engineering/operations background, strong leadership skills and proficiency with MS Office. This onsite role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with relevant operations/continuous improvement experience.
• Experience in manufacturing operations or continuous improvement environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; knowledge of shop practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to multi-skilled team in manufacture/repair of jet engine components.
• Ensure employees are trained and operate safely environment.
• Conduct performance reviews and maintain clear communications of goals.
• Bridge business objectives across multiple shifts.
• Support government contracting and FAA policy adherence.
• Set day-to-day goals for team members.
• Modify systems and processes to solve problems and improve effectiveness.
• Occasional shift overlap or off-shift work as needed.
