Job summary

RTX Corporation in the United States is seeking a Cell Leader, AWW to direct one or more Cells within a Business Unit. You will apply CORE and LEAN methods to drive process improvements, improve quality, throughput and delivery integrity, and lead a multi-skilled team in manufacturing and repairing jet engine components.

This role requires cross-shift availability and onsite presence. You will supervise training, safety, and environmental responsibilities while delivering performance reviews and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, business operations, quality or related field, OR an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience
• In absence of a degree, a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, business operations, quality or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Working knowledge of shop practices, processes and procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to one or more Cells in the Business Unit.
• Apply CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) and LEAN to develop and implement process improvements to increase quality, throughput and delivery integrity.
• Lead a multi-skilled group engaged in manufacture and repair of jet engine components.
• Ensure employees are trained and work safely and environmentally responsible.
• Set day-to-day goals, conduct performance reviews, and communicate organizational objectives.
