Job summary

Disability Supports Of The Great Pl seeks a dedicated supervisor for the Community Enrichment Center to lead DSP teams and implement person-centered plans. The role includes coordinating transportation and developing community opportunities for individuals served, with close collaboration with Residential Program Manager and Clayworks staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct care experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Education preferred; HS diploma/equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to lead and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise CEC Direct Support Professionals.
• Provide a monthly CEC objective outline covering education, social media, recreation, and community.
• Assist in hiring, training, and development of CEC Direct Support Professionals.
• Implement Person Centered Support Plans for assigned individuals.
• Develop community contacts and volunteer opportunities for individuals served.
• Collaborate with Residential Program Manager on shared staffing schedules.
• Collaborate with Clayworks staff for shared programmatic/community involvement.
• Coordinate daily transportation to employment, volunteer, and leisure activities.
• Develop new projects/activities to enhance CEC offerings.
• Maintain all CEC facilities and equipment to high standards.
